High school aged rowers, please visit the Junior Team and LTR page for more information.

USRowing Membership

In addition to becoming a member of MRC, all adult and Junior Team members also need to become a member of our national organization, USRowing. This is required for insurance purposes.
  1. Go to http://membership.usrowing.org
  2. When searching for your home club, be sure to select the Minneapolis Rowing Club, USRowing Organization # 959
  3. The club code for MRC is: ARQN6
  4. Select a membership level and be sure to complete the waiver and self-attestation questionnaire as part of the membership process.
    • Most members join at the Basic membership level. If you plan to compete at a national regatta such the USRowing Masters National Championships, you should join at the higher Championship level. Even if not needed for your competition plans, the USRowing Championship membership does include excess individual medical coverage in the event of an accident, which may be a desirable benefit for some.
  5. The self-attestation questionnaire is to determine which members also need to complete SafeSport training. Unless you plan to work regularly with minors in our club, you should not have to complete SafeSport training.
iCrew

You are now on the MRC website. In addition to this website, we use iCrew to manage all rowing activities both independent and coached program sessions. The MRC website is an excellent resource for club information, policies, procedures, and all financial transactions are paid through this website. All rowing must be logged in iCrew, including both with coached programs and independent rowing reservations. This is required for safety. Once you become a member, both adult and Juniors, check the confirmation email for a link to create an iCrew account. Log on to iCrew at https://icrew.club/logon
Programs

Participation in coached programs is optional. Experienced rowers may simply become a member and choose to independently row your private boat (if applicable) or check out club equipment once evaluated and bow rated. Clinics to become bow rated are offered throughout the season. For questions about getting rated to row independently, email Bow@minneapolisrowing.org. More information about rack space for private boats is available on the Storage Info page.

The programs schedule, team descriptions, and registration links are on the Adult Teams page. You must be
 a

paid, active adult or collegiate member to register for Competitive, Green (2nd year & returning rowers), or Recreational programs. Please note, you must be logged in to your MRC account to see the, “Register now,” button in the registration link.

The Adult Novice Team is for rowers with no prior experience or less than one year rowing who have completed a Learn To Row program.

See the U30 Program page for more information about this team. Please note the U30 Program Fee includes both membership and the coaching program fee. You do not need to become a member first to register for the U30 Program.

For youth programs, go to the Junior Team and LTR page or Middle School Program page.
